This was the culmination of a 5+ year process to build around a specific rhythm and let it retain its individuality from prior recordings of this pattern to this one. This track deals w/ mortality and loss.

mind's-eye stranded in the tomb. each lie scratching at the wound.
where was I? never there. looking back,& how you tried to reach me. You just want (to) mold to one perfect thing & then move on together.
those malicious, vicious few -fevered, shrieking dreams of you.
biting kiss, candle wax, time we spent together-rose to mark the memory. deep inside, he can't touch (the) place in you (that) still longs for roses.
benefits to undead existence (is) pain of loss locked away forever, wall away all the warmth; desire. one more match to my funeral pyre.
scarecrows scan the shore, their shadows stretch out (&) seek the vein you offered. memory bleach the bones in slumber, endless for the six-feet-unders- (& you're gone) on your own, away from me, cut the skin, leave a scar, disfigure...
